Three surveyors treated inhumanly by JMM leaders

Jamshedpur, Sep 12 (UNI) Three surveyors of a private company were allegedly manhandled by smearing their faces with cow dung, asking them to hold shoes in mouth by a crowd led by local leaders of ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha in Potka block here yesterday.

According to police the local JMM leaders and some villagers opposed survey near Sarmanda village on the grounds that prior approval was not taken.

The surveyors were later freed by police.

FIR had been lodged in this regard, however, none was arrested so far.

Meanwhile, company sources said that they were going to ask the chief minister to provide security to their employees.

'' People are not against selling their land to us but some vested interests are creating problem'' sources added.
