Krishna University all set to offer job opportunity courses

Vijaywada,Sep 12(UNI):The new-started Krishna University, which started functioning at Machilipatnam port town,is giving priority to job-oriented courses, its Vice-Chancellor M K Durga Prasad, said today.

Addressing mediapersons here, he said the University has introduced the courses including the two-Year Master of Business Administration course with Pharaceutical and Financial management as specialisation to cater to the needs of the medicine industry besides offering five-year integrated M Sc in Biotechnology course with specialisation in Marine and Agri biotechnology.

Similarly, the two-year MA in Journalism and Mass Communication course would help students to take up jobs in the print and electronic media, he said.

The University offers a two-year M Sc course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, three-year Masters in Computer Applications course and two-year MA in English Literature course, Mr Prasad added.

The university is also equipped with god library facilities, he said adding a five-member panel has been constituted headed by the Vice Chancellor and other members including Prof K C Reddy, Chairman State Council of Higher Education, among others to ensure smooth functioning of the University.
