Dial toll free 18001801717 for latest weather report through IVRS

Bangalore, Sept 12 (UNI) Now you can have weather report on toll free phone through Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) launched at the Meteorological Centre here.

The system provides Local forecast for Bangalore City and neighbourhood and weather information for all cities and District headquarters along with Maximum/Minimum Temperatures and 24 hours Rainfall, multi Hazard weather Warnings if any in English, Hindi and Kannada languages.

So far this facility, introduced on March 19-2008, was provided with dial-up on payment. Now this facility is available on free dial-up, according to a release from Meteorological Department here.
