AppLabs wins 'New Market Entrant of the Year' award
Hyderabad, Sep 12 (UNI) AppLabs, the world's largest independent testing, quality management and certification solutions company today announced that it has won 'The New Market Entrant of the Year' (India into UK) award at 'The UK Trade and Investment India Business Awards 2008' for successfully managing integration of intellectual property and business processes of Indian and UK operations, to become the world's largest independent global provider of testing services.
Founder and Chairman of AppLabs Sashi Reddi said, in a statement here, "We have been keen to grow our business in Europe and felt that the UK is the right base from which to expand our operations. Our cultural ties with the UK and the great business environment that the UK provides made the decision easy." The UK Trade and Investment India Business Awards are given in recognition and celebration of the UK-Indo business partnership, specifically in terms of inward investment, collaborative business partnership, entrepreneurship and innovation, he said.
UK Trade and Investment was the UK Government's international business development agency, he added.
