New Delhi, Sep 12: In the sensation Noida double murder case, CBI on Friday, Sep 12 opposed the bail for Raj Kumar, one of the key suspects in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case.

As the scientific evidence points to his involvement in the crime it is utmost important to keep him behind the bars. He is a Nepal national and there are high chances he may flee the country, says CBI officials. A court in Ghaziabad on the outskirts of Delhi will decide Raj Kumar's bail later on Friday, Sep 12. The bail plea of Krishna, compunder of Dr Rajesh Talwar and another suspect in the case, was also moved in the designated CBI court by his counsel R K Anand and F C Sharma.

While Rajkumar's counsel contended that there was no evidence against his client, the CBI informed the court that it had telephonic records suggesting that the accused was constantly in touch with Hemraj, the murdered domestic help of the Talwars.

The two men are currently in jail for the murders of 13-year-old Aarushi Talwar and her family's domestic help Hemraj in Noida. Both Aarushi and Hemraj were killed on the intervening night of May 15-16.

The third man accused of being involved in the murder, Vijay Mandal, was released on Saturday, Sep 6.

The CBI has confirmed that it has no material evidence against any of the three men, a sign that the case has collapsed.
