Suzlon bags orders from Romania and Portugal

New Delhi, Sept 11: Suzlon Energy Ltd, world's fifth-largest wind-turbine maker, on Thursday, Sep 11 said its wholly-owned subsidiary has bagged two orders from Martifier to supply wind turbines with a capacity of 79.8 megawatts (MW) for projects in Romania and Portugal.

This order represents Suzlon's first wind turbine order in Romania and is a major addition to the Company's expanding global footprint, a company statement said. However, no financial details were available.
