Official held, property worth crores unearthed
Mangalore, Sep 11 (UNI) Lokayukta sleuths today raided the house of commercial Tax Official Dayanand Poojary at Mathadakani, near here and seized illegal property worth several crore of rupees.
According to sources, following a tip-off about Poojary amassing wealth by illegal means, the sleuths simultaneously raided his house and farm house, near Moodbidri in Daxina Kannada District.
Poojary was brought to his office for further investigations, sources said.
