Huge cache of explosive materials recovered in south Bihar
Nawada, Sep 11 (UNI) Alert Bihar police personnel foiled a possible insurgency attack in this south Bihar town by recovering a huge cache of detonators and explosive materials from a stationary car near here tonight.
District Superintendent of Police Binod Kumar informed that acting on a tip off a special police team cordoned off a stationary vehicle near the city's Siswa crossing and in the following search operation recovered 5,000 detonators and 4,300 explosive materials, including many blast pins.
None one has been arrested sofar.
However, investigation was on to trace the offenders and ascertain the reason behind leaving such a large amount of explosive materials in the car, the SP added.
