Rupee extends losses to 45.05/06 per USD

Mumbai, Sep 10: The Rupee weakened further by 20 paise to 45.05/06 per US Dollar from the previous close of 44.84/85 on weak global sentiments that weighed on stock market.

The partially-convertible domestic currency dropped past 45.00 per dollar to a new near two-year low as a weaker stock market raised worries of more foreign fund outflows, dealers said.
