Jessica Alba set to play math genius in new flick

Washington, Sep 10 : Hollywood actress Jessica Alba is all set to return to work after giving birth to baby girl, Honor, to play a mathematician in new movie 'Invisible'.

The 'Love Guru' actress will show her non-glamorous side, as she is set to play a mathematics genius in the upcoming flick.

The new mum will be seen as a young woman who has retreated from the world and is consumed by numbers and math, but things begin to change when she becomes a second-grade math teacher, reports Variety.

Filmmaker Marilyn Agrelo will soon begin lensing the film, which is based on Aimee Bender's tome.

Jessica Alba was not the first choice for the role of the math genius, as 'Ugly Betty' star America Ferrera was approached earlier for the role.

However, America turned down the offer due to her 'Ugly Betty' commitments.
