Gammon India buys 50% stake in Italian firm

New Delhi, Sept 10 (UNI) Construction firm Gammon India Ltd today said its offshore step down subsidiary has acquired 50 per cent shares of Italy-based Sofinter SpA.

Sofinter, which is the holding company of Italy's Ansaldo Caldaie SpA, is engaged in manufacturing of super critical boilers, a statement said.

However, no financial details of the deal were disclosed.
