Foundation stone for ICAI's First 'Centre of Excellence' at Jaipur

New Delhi, Sep 10 (UNI) Union Minister of Corporate Affairs Prem Chand Gupta will lay the foundation stone for a new facility for the Chartered Accountants : 'Centre of Excellence' at Jaipur, tomorrow.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will be the Chief Guest on this occasion. The Centre of Excellence will the first residential campus of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), a premier professional accountancy body in the country.

The Centre of Excellence has been planned not only to provide campus training to the students/professionals, but it would be a research hub for accountancy in India. This centre will hone the talent and aptitude of the candidates and in times to come, it would become the prime point of all accounts related global activities.

The Centre of Excellence will help to develop knowledge and tool for capacity building of the professionals, industry and the government and would provide the infrastructure for campus training to the students. The centre would also meet the demands of the neighboring countries and other parts of the world for training their accountants.
