Children anticipate today as last day of earth over CERN experiment

Lucknow, Sep 10 (UNI) The European Organisation that is smashing photon beams at an underground complex in Geneva to know the secrets of universe and its origin has not only hit the headlines, but also created panic among the school children today.

''Today is the last day of the earth, I am rushing for home to spend this last day with my parents,'' Ankuyr, an overwhelmed class four student at City Montessari School.

A few other kids were also seen asking about the news of end of the earth saying ''is that for real? are we going to die?'' Not even little kids but college goers and teenagers were also under similar terror. Sapna Vishkarma, class tenth student of Navyug Radiance this morning woke up in fear and instead of wishing her father good morning, she said, ''daddy this is the last morning for us.'' The issue remained the talk of the day among the youths and teenagers.

Scientists of the European Organisation Nuclear Research, known as (CERN), the world's largest particle physics laboratory today began an experiment to re-enact the ''Big Bang'' that created the universe.

TV channels were flooded with programmes with assumptions of ''end of the earth.'' However, according to reports scientists have ruled out any possible harm or end of life in universe due to the experiment.

Following the news, the schools and colleges registered less attendence.

Meanwhile, parents expressed their ire on the media for floating irrelevant stuff for TRPs and making their children apprehensive.
