Two vehilce lifters arrested

Raipur, Sep 9 (UNI) Two vehicle lifters have been arrested and several vehicles worth Rs 16 lakh have been seized from them, police said today.

A police spokesperson informed that Bainu Verma, who hails from Rajnandgaon, was residing in the state capital for the past one year. He used to steal two-wheelers. He admitted stealing five motorcycles during interrogation.

In a separate case, Momin Para-resident Etesham Khan has been arrested and a multi-utility vehicle, worth Rs five lakh, and a truck, worth Rs 16 lakh, was seized from him.
