Tractor overturns killing 2, traumatised driver commits suicide

Umaria, MP, Sep 9 (UNI) In a Bizarre incident, a tractor driver committed suicide by jumping before a running train after two labourers, travelling in the same vehicle, died in an accident last night, police said today.

The tractor, laden with iron bars and cement, was en route from here to Baronda village when it met with an accident while giving way to a truck last night between Bharoula and Loda villages.

Two labourers, Bhangia (47), resident of Baharwah village and Ramcharan Mahra (22), hailing from Baronda village, who were sitting on the tractor, were crushed to death in the accident.

At that, the tractor driver Ramakant Mahra (25), who was also from Baronda village, was so disturbed by the gory scene that he immediately ran to the railway line and jumped in front of a running train.

He died on the spot.
