Panchayat Sahayaks' salary enhanced to Rs 3120 per month

Shimla, Sep 9 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government has enhanced the monthly remuneration of Panchayat Sahayaks from Rs 2,340 to Rs 3120 per month.

A spokesman of the government said that the revised salary had come into force with effect from August 1, 2008.

The revised rate of Rs 3120 per month shall be allowed to only those Panchayat Sahayaks who are not posted in their home gram panchayat, he added.
