Chargesheet filed in Tantri case

Kochi, Sep 9 (UNI) The police today filed a chargesheet in the infamous Sabarimala Tantri case before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court here.

The chargesheet was filed against eleven accused, including Sobha John, Bichu Rahman and Abdul Sathar.

The allegation was that the accused had conspired to threaten former Sabarimala Tantri Kantararu Mohanararu and robbed gold ornaments weighing 27.5 sovereigns, mobile phone and Rs 2,000 in 2006.

It was also alleged that the accused had taken photographs of the Tantri with one woman at his apartment here.
