BBMP Tax Inspector arrested for accepting bribe

Bangalore, Sept 9 (UNI) A Bruhut Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Tax Inspector was arrested by Lok Ayukta sleuths today while accepting bribe for showing official favour.

Ramamurthy, who had demanded Rs 25,000 for an official favour was nabbed while accepting Rs 10,000 as first instalment during a trap laid by the Lok Ayukta on a complaint from one Sunil Kumar, an official release here said.
