ACB nets Village Revenue Officer

Hyderabad, Sept 9 (UNI) A Village Revenue Officer (VRO) was caught redhanded by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials at his residence when he accepted a bribe of Rs 1,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour.

According to a release here today, K Venkataramana Rao, VRO of Alwala Village in Kurnool district, was produced before the Additional Special Judge for ACB cases, Hyderabad.

In another case, the Andhra Pradesh government has issued an order to withhold the entire pension and gratuity of a former Junior Assistant following his conviction by the Court of Principal Special Judge for ACB cases here.
