2 vehicle lifters held

Satna, MP, Sep 9 (UNI) Two vehicle-lifters were arrested and six motorcycles with Rs 40,000 cash seized from them in this district's Majhgawan village, police said today.

Superintendent of Police Kamalsingh Rathore told mediapersons here today that some villagers suspected the duo and informed police, who swung into action and held Abhayraj Bagri (27) and Vikrant Singh (23).

The accused, who recently acquitted from the jail on bail, confessed to nine incidents of loot and snatching.

They were also involved in an incident in which Rs 3 lakh was looted from petrol pump businessman on June 8, police added.
