One person killed and 25 other injured in a road mishap

Hubli, Sept 8 (UNI) One person was killed on the spot an 25 others sustained injuries near Makanur village of Ranebennur taluk of Haveri District in a headon collision between a KSRTC bus and a lorry last night.

Police said that the bus was bound for Haveri and the lorry was coming in the opposite direction when the mishap occurred.

The injured have been admitted to Davangere hospital.
