New Hyundai ''i20'' to premier at Paris Motor Show

Mumbai, Sep 7 (UNI) Korean automaker Hyundai Motors' new ''i20'' sub compact car will have its world premier at the upcoming Paris Motor Show - the ''Mondial de lautomobile''.

The all new five-door ''i20'', designed at the company's European Design Centre in Russelsheim, Germany, will ride on a longer wheelbase than its predecessor the Getz and will be produced at the Chennai plant, a company release said.

The car is expected to enter the European market at 2008-end, the release said.

The other cars to be displayed at the Paris show include its premium sedan ''Genesis'', seven-seater ''ix55'' SUV, petrol-Electric hybrid Santa Fe model, ''i20'' blue low emission concept car, coupes and environment friendly cars, the release said.
