Tinted glass vehicles banned in Meghalaya

Shillong, Sep 6(UNI) The District administratrion of East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya has banned plying of vehicles with dark glass on roads.

Official sources said here today that the ban would be effective between 1900 hours to 0050 hours with immediate effect.

This ban order was imposed in view of complains from various quarters that riders from such vehicles create nuisance and use abusive languages to passers by, sources added.

The state government has directed the district administration to seize the tinted glass vehicles when found parked or plying during the stipulated timings, sources informed.
