Kerala plans lottery in Co-opt sector
Kannur, Sep 6: Kerala Minister for Co-operation G Sudhakaran said today that a lottery would be started under the cooperative sector in the state in November.
Launching a health insurance scheme for the staff of the co-operative hospital in Thalassery, he said revenue from the lottery would be utilised for the revival of sick cooperatives and the welfare of the cooperatie employees.
Mr Sudhakaran said the state government had already cleared the proposal for the lottery.
