CM to seek flood relief from centre
Bangalore, Sep 6 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said he would lead a delegation to the Centre on September 10 to demand its assistance in tackling the drought and flood situation in the state.
Mr Yeddyurappa told reporters here that he would go to New Delhi along with the Revenue Minister to submit a memorandum to Union Home Minister Shivaraj Patil for immediate release of funds.
The state had suffered a loss of Rs 2400 crore in the floods, he said.
