AP terrorists involved in terror strikes: Minister
Hyderabad, Sep 6 (UNI) Admitting that persons from Andhra Pradesh were also involved in terrorist attacks in other states, Home Minister K Jana Reddy today informed the state assembly that investigation pertaining to last year's twin blasts in Hyderabad remained inconclusive.
In a written reply to BJP member G Kishan Reddy, the Minister said persons from the state were involved in the attack on Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and in the assassination of former Gujarat Home Minister Haren Pandya.
The twin bomb blast cases were being investigated by the Central Crime Station (CCS) and serious efforts were being made for its detection, he added.
He said out of 70 injured in the twin blasts, 63 were given ex-gratia while remaining seven could not be paid because their whereabouts were not known. However, they would be paid whenever they reported before the authorities concerned, he added.
