30 school children take ill after drinking water

Gulbarga, Sept 6 (UNI) As many as 30 Children of Morarji Desai Residential School took ill after drinking water from a tank in the school, at Nidugonda Village in Chincholi Taluk of the District today.

Official sources said that the students, after having breakfast, drank water from the tank and after about 30 minutes started vomiting. They were shifted to Primary Health Centre in Nidugonda where 10 students were admitted as in patients and others discharged after treatment.

Taluk Health officer Dr Rajkumar visited the School and inspected the Water in the tank.

Parents of the students alleged that it had been since long time the water tank was cleaned.
