Silver Smith partners Italian institute

New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) Silver Smith India Ltd today said Jewellery Design and Technology Institute (JDTI) has inked an agreement with Italian school of design Instituto Europeo Di Design (IED) The MoU is targeted at the increasing demand for education and training in the jewellery sector and will help Silver Smith expand its reach to cities with potential for providing skilled and educated manpower for retailing, manufacturing and designing of jewellery, a company statement said.

At present, the company provides educational services from its campus in Noida.

The company will open its next centre in Chandigarh with courses commencing from October.

The revenues from this are expected to be reflected in the operation in the second half of the current financial year, it added.
