NCEBC seeks Karnataka Government's views on reservations
Bangalore, Sept 5 (UNI) National Commission for Economically Backward Classes headed by S R Sinho today sought the state government's views on providing of welfare measures and reservation for the general catogory of people.
Chairman Sinho told reporters here that the Commission had discussion with Chief Secretary Sudhakar Rao and other officials of the state government and sought their opinion on the criteria for identification of economically backward classess, quantum of reservation in education and government employment and welfare meausures to improve the economic status of such classess.
The Commission will submit its report in the middle of the next year, he said.
