Dogri Food Festival in Jammu from tomorrow

Jammu, Sep 5 (UNI) In a bid to develop the taste of Dogri food among youngsters, Hotel Grand Rivera will organise a 10-day-long Dogri Food Festival here from tomorrow.

''The fest will serve delicious and famous Dogri food items to visitors only at dinner time at cheaper rates,'' an official from Hotel Rivera told UNI.

''Each day special and new dishes -- non-vegetarian and vegetarian items besides sweet dish -- will be served in ethnic Dogra style,'' he added.

Some of the traditional Dogri dishes included Madra Dal, Ambal, Khatta Meat, Kheer, Qayoor, different varieties of Murabba, Pathura and all types of paranthas, the official revealed.
