K'taka: District unit plans to launch protest on Sept 8

Madikeri, Sep 5: Kodagu district JD-S unit has decided to hold a protest against the state government's failure in all fronts on September eigth.

Addressing a party meeting here yesterday, M C Nanaiah(MLC) said that the BJP-led government in the state is anti-people and it needs to be cautioned to change its stance.

He condemned the attitude of the government which was more interested in foreign tours than to visit the drought-hit, rain-hit areas.

Corruption, mismanagement and price hike are sky rocketing due to the failure in governance, he said.

The meeting also condemned the attacks against both Hindus and Christians in Orissa.
