Bail for 7 SIMI activists rejected
Hubli, Sept, 5 (UNI) The bail application of seven suspected terrorists recently arrested in Indore was today rejected today by the District and Sessions (Ist) Judge V G Bopaiah.
The CoD police which is investigating cases relating to nearly 20 simi activists arrested in the state and elsewhere, produced accused were before the court today. After hearing the objections filed by the Public Prosecutor, the court rejected the bail plea.
The CoD Police have already filed charge sheet against them.
Nasser, Adnan, Shibli, Dr Manroj Jamana, Mohammad Ansari, Nagori and P A Shadoli were accused of terrorist activities in different parts of the state and the country.
The bail application was moved by the defendant lawyer A A Savanur.
It may be recalled that recently the High Court had rejected the bail plea of other six suspected terrorists also.
