We are ready to do anything to launch Nano: Ratan Tata

New Delhi, Sep 4: Ratan Tata on Thursday, Sep 4 said Tata Motors will lookout every possibilty to launch the 'People's Car'- Nano by the October, 2008. ''We will do whatever is possible to come close to the deadline to launch the car. All depend on the situation in Singur, '' Mr Tata told presspersons in New Delhi.

Speaking for the first time after the Singur impasse, he said, ''It is inappropriate to say anything further.'' Expressing concern over the rising input costs, he said, ''The auto-industry is under tremendous pressure due to rising input costs. However, we are not considering to raise the price of our Rs one lakh car.''
