Home (Interior) Minister visits Kandhamal

On Board/Kandhamal, September 4 , 2008 : Home Minister Shivraj Patil on Wednesday visited the strife hit Kandhamal district of Orissa and promised all help to the victims of religious blood shedding.

Patil made an aerial survey of the region and also went to Udaygiri, one of the riots affected blocks of Kandhamal district. He also assured the riot victims that the central government would extend all possible help to them.
