TN CM announces Rs 10 cr assistance to flood ravaged Bihar

Chennai, Sep 4 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today announced a relief assistance of Rs ten crore for the people of flood-ravaged Bihar where normal life was crippled and hundreds of people died due to unprecedented floods.

Expressing grief over the calamity that rendered lakhs of people homeless, Mr Karunanidhi announced the assistance from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Funds.

A cheque to this effect was sent to the Bihar Government today, an official release said.
