New Cong Ministry headed by V Vaithilingam sworn-in

Puducherry, Sep 4 (UNI) The new Congress Ministry in Puducherry headed by V Vaithilingam was sworn-in today.

Lt Governor Govind Singh Gurjar administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Vaithilingam and his five cabinet collegues at a simple function at the Raj Nivas here.

Mr V Valsaraj, Mr Malladi Krishna Rao, Mr Kandasamy and Mr M O H F Shajahan, who were ministers in the previous Rangasamy government were retained while Mr Namasivayam, a close relative of Mr Rangasamy was the new face in the cabinet.
