Moderate quake rattles India-Tibet border region

New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) An earthquake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, rattled the India-Tibet border region in Uttarakhand this evening.

The India Meteorological Department said the quake struck at 1823 hours.

It was epicentred at 30.1 degrees North latitude and 80.4 degrees East longitude, a press release said.
