Girl student dies in UP road accident National Highway jammed

Kanpur, Sep 4 (UNI) A graduate girl student was run over by a speeding vehicle near a bypass here today.

Supriya (18), a BA first year student of Jawala Devi College, met with an accident, while proceeding towards the college. She died on the spot, police said.

Later, an enraged mob created ruckus on the Lucknow-Kanpur National Highway over the girl's death.

The jam was lifted after two hours on the interference of the police.
