Two killed, five injured in truck accident
Shimla, Sep 3 (UNI) Two people were killed and five others injured when the truck they were travelling in rolled down into a gorge near Khangan Bridge in Chopal subdivision of Shimla district late last night, police today said.
According to police sources in the accident, which occured around midnight, one person died on the spot while the other succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital. The deceased were identified as driver of the truck Sohan lal the owner Arun Thakur.
The truck was loaded with apples and was on its way to Chandigarh from Chopal.
The injured were admitted to Indra Gandhi Medical Hospital Shimla.
