Five car-lifters arrested in Assam

Tezpur, Sep 2 (UNI) Altogether, five car-lifters were arrested and a stolen Bolero vehicle seized in Assam's Sonitpur district last night.

Police said the Bolero had been intercepted while being taken from Guwahati to Jorhat at Mission Chariali.

The driver of the vehicle was also arrested.

Acting on a tip-off, the police nabbed another four car-lifters from the nearby Jakhalabandha areas.
