Eight feared drowned in Ambedkarnagar

Lucknow, Sept 3 (UNI) At least eight people were feared dead when a country boat capsized mid-stream in river Tons in Ambedkarnagar district today.

Police said five bodies had been fished out so far while divers were in search of three more missing people.

The ill-fated boat carrying 27 passengers met with the accident near Samanpur village. However, 19 people swam ashore.
