DANICs officers thank Delhi CM for bettermen of scales

New Delhi, Sep 3 (UNI) The DANICS (Delhi Andaman and Nicobar Island Civil Service) officers of the Delhi government today expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit for her intervention in improvement of their pay scales.

DANICS officers led by President of the DANICS Association, B P Joshi called on Ms Dikshit at her residence to convey their sincere thanks.

Mr Joshi said Ms Dikshit has been kind enough to take up the issue of scales of DANICS Officers with the Review Committee and the Union Finance Minister.

Stating that the final scales are respectable though issue of stagnation and timely induction into IAS remains to be addressed, Mr Joshi expressed confidence that the Chief Minister would also be good enough to get this issue resolved at the earliest.
