Blueline driver beaten to death after quarrel
New Delhi, Sept 3 (UNI) A 30-year-old driver of a blueline bus died after being severely beaten up by a car owner in Punjabi Bagh area of North-West Delhi.
Mukesh Kumar, who plied his bus on route no 926, succumbed at the Maharaja Agrasen hospital, where he was shifted after being beaten by Navin Kalra on main Rohtak Road, said the police.
Claiming that his rear mirror had been broken by the Blueline bus, Kalra along with his friends assaulted Mukesh and left him unconscious.
The police later took him to the hospital after the conducter reported the matter to them.
The accused had been arrested and a case registered against him.
Doctors said Mukesh died following severe internal wounds. The body had been sent for postmortem, the police added.
