Bihari pilgrim dies of cardiac failure at Vaishno Devi Shrine

Jammu, Sep 3 (UNI) A Bihar-based pilgrim died of cardiac arrest en route Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine at Katra in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources here today said.

''Pilgrim identified as Vijay Kumar, resident of Nalanda, Bihar, complained of chest pain while he was taken to the nearby medical centre for check up en route Bhawan where doctors declared him brought dead last night,'' sources told UNI.

He had accompanied 40-member team of pilgrims from Bihar, who had come to Katra to pay obeisance to Goddess Vaishno Devi.
