U'khand to provide Rs 2 cr to Bihar flood victims
Dehra Dun, Sep 2 (UNI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri has announced Rs two crore aid for the flood victims in Bihar and assured total cooperation in rescue and relief operations.
In a telephone conversation with his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar yesterday, Khanduri announced a financial aid of Rs two crore to the flood-affected people in Bihar and assured that his government would stand by them in this hour of need, a spokesperson for the Chief Minister told UNI today.
During the conversation, Khanduri enquired about the ongoing relief and rescue operations and assured that his government was ready extend all possible support.
