Student killed by junior in Bihar
Betiah, Sep 2 (UNI) A twelfth standard student was shot dead by a student of the tenth standard near Mufassil police station area of the district today.
Police said one Asutosh Kumar, a tenth standard student, opened fire from point blank range on Amitesh Kumar near Bhagbatinagar Mahalla of the district and seriously injured him.
Later, he fled from the spot after firing.
The injured was taken to the Betiah MJK hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
An FIR had been lodged in the local police station and raids were on to nab Asutosh.
However, the motive of the killing was not yet ascertained, police added.
