PC approves third Godavari bridge in Rajamundry
Hyderabad, Sep 2 (UNI) The Planning Commission has granted, in principle, approval for a third bridge across Godavari in Rajahmundry at a cost of Rs 817.68 crore, Roads and Buildings Minister T Jeevan Reddy informed the State Assembly today.
Replying to Congress member R Suryaprakasa Rao, he said the Union Government would provide 20 per cent of the project cost under the Viability Gap Funding Scheme.
It was programmed to ground the work in January 2009 and complete the same by December 2011, he added.
