Maytas signs pact with NICMAR for training associates

Hyderabad, Sep 2 (UNI) City-based Maytas Properties Ltd today signed a long-term agreement with the National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) to offer training to its associates at Maytas.

Maytas Properties CEO Thiagarajan and NICMAR Director General Korgaonker signed the agreement with a vision to foster collaboration between the two institutions and to promote academic and leadership excellence.

In a release here, Mr Thiagarajan said the main objective of this collaboration was to provide a comprehensive certificate course to working engineers ranging from entry level engineers in civil, electrical and mechanical disciplines to Project Manager level professionals with seven to 10 years of experience at Maytas Properties.

''The aim of this course is to provide an opportunity to the experienced engineers within our organisation to move up in the chain of command or hierarchy. This one-of-its-kind programme is fully aligned to meet the technology and leadership gap in the property development industry.'' ''This multi-module, multi-level programme builds competencies across four levels -- foundation level, advanced level, professional level and master level. It also awards an additional Continuous Knowledge Upgradation and Application Professional Certificate to those who undergo a minimum of 15 contact hours of further training in NICMAR's Management Development Programme in two-year period.''
