Haryana farmers to meet Hooda on Sep 5

Chandigarh, Sep 2 (UNI) Farmers from various parts of Haryana would meet Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on September 5 to express their gratitude to him for the efforts he had made to get the ban on export of PUSA-1121 variety paddy lifted.

This was stated by the working president of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee, Kuldeep Sharma, while speaking at a meeting of the workers of the Congress here today.

He said that the decision to lift ban on export of this variety of paddy would benefit the farmers especially of Punjab and Haryana in a big way.
