CRPF constable died in accident fire in Kashmir
Srinagar, Sep 2 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable died when his service weapon went off at Hazratbal, about 12 km from here, official sources said today.
They said panic gripped in Hazratbal bus stand, near the holy shrine, when a fire was heard in the area.
Later, it was discovered that a constable Sheeshpal Singh of 163 batallion CRPF on patrol duty was in pool of blood.
Police said the service weapon of Mr Singh had went off accidently and hit him. He died on the spot, they said.
